The Global Health Innovative Technology Fund (GHIT) join the WLGH19 sponsor line-up

WLGH19 are delighted to welcome the GHIT Fund as a conference Founding Partner. As a pioneering partnership model, the GHIT Fund leverages innovation, investment and powerful leadership in the global fight against infectious diseases such as malaria, tuberculosis and neglected tropical diseases that afflict the world’s poorest people. Working alongside government bodies, UN agencies, a consortium of pharmaceutical and diagnostics companies and philanthropic foundations, GHIT has catalyzed the research and development (R&D) of new global health innovations for neglected patients, and made their findings open to everyone to improve health for all.

Catherine K. Ohura, CEO & Executive Director of GHITFund, says:

The ideas, creativity, and leadership of women are all essential to advancing global health innovation—in Japan and across the world. WLGH19 plays a critical role in empowering and connecting women to recognize and realize their limitless potential to transform health across the globe.

We look forward to welcoming Catherine to speak on the WLGH19 panel “Leadership Labyrinth: Honest discussion about career growth of women across global health sectors’ in November this year.
