Anjana Seshadri

Anjana is Manager (Policy) in Grand Challenges India which is a partnership of the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation with the Wellcome Trust, housed at the Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC). At Grand Challenges India, Anjana is responsible for policy analysis, program development and management, and communications for the funded programs across a diverse range of themes, under public health.

Before joining Grand Challenges India, Anjana worked as Policy Advisor with the Review on Antimicrobial Resistance, housed at the Wellcome Trust and co-funded by the UK Government, in London. Anjana holds a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from the University of Delhi, a Master’s in Environmental Studies from TERI University, New Delhi, and a Master in Public Administration in International Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
