Angella is a nurse with a BSc in nursing from Makerere University. She is currently pursuing an MPH at Washington University in St.Louis (WashU). At WashU she works at the Center for Public Health Systems science writing User Guides for tobacco control for the CDC. Angella is also an epidemiology intern at Kantar Health, a global research consulting company.
At Kantar, she works on estimation of prevalence of diseases in various countries. Angella has worked as a Research Capacity Building Coordinator at the Infectious Disease Institute in Uganda where she coordinated NIH and Gilead funded programs. Angella is a member of the Social Medicine Consortium and has taught classes on “gender equity in health” with SocMed-University of Minnesota.
